Mathematics in education

Target price

This course teaches the mathematical basics that are relevant for technical and industrial apprenticeships. Participants learn how to carry out calculations safely, convert dimensions, determine areas and volumes and apply the Pythagorean theorem and angle functions. The course is practice-orientated and contains numerous examples from everyday working life.
 
Learning objectives

After completing the course, participants can:
  • Use basic arithmetic operations safely.
  • Convert units of measurement correctly.
  • Calculate areas and volumes.
  • Use the Pythagorean theorem in practical situations.
  • Use angle functions to calculate sides and angles.
