About Course

Welcome to your challenge for prospective industrial electricians!

Do you want to become an industrial electronics technician? Then you've come to the right place.

In this course you can show what you've got - with real tasks from selection procedures, interactive exercises and practical scenarios from the world of electrical engineering and automation.

What you can expect:

  • Original questions from the selection procedure
  • Topics from electrical engineering, mechanics, maths & logic
  • Tasks as they really occur in practice - e.g. reading circuit diagrams, analysing faults, identifying components
  • Direct feedback & personal evaluation

At the end, you will receive a certificate confirming your participation - ideal for job applications or interviews with the job centre.

Your timetable for the challenge

To help you master the challenge with confidence, we will provide you with a clear and practical guide. It will help you to understand the process and organise yourself optimally:

Course Content

📚Lesson 1: What you should know about the world
🎯You will learn how politics and business influence your everyday working life. Topics such as the energy transition, digitalisation and sustainability are important for electrical engineering. You will learn what renewable energies are and how they are used in companies. Basic knowledge about society and the state will also help you to better understand technical developments.

  • General knowledge

📚Lesson 2: Industry & profession
🎯 You work with electrical systems, control systems and automation systems. In this lesson, you will learn where electronics technicians are needed - e.g. in industry, energy supply or building technology. You will learn how circuits are constructed, how to read circuit diagrams and how to find and rectify faults.

📚Lesson 3: Technical understanding
🎯What you learn here Train your technical understanding: How stable is a frame? These tasks will help you to recognise technical relationships.

📝 Lesson 4 - Language proficiency
🎯 What you'll learn here Train your language skills: How do you spell "rivalry" correctly? What is the correct form of "forms"? These tasks will help you to use spelling and grammar with confidence - an important foundation for technical professions in which documentation and communication are also important.

🔢 Lesson 5 - Maths

📚 Lesson 1: Having a logical mind is also an advantage
🎯 Learning objective: You know the basic principles of logical thinking - and can apply them specifically to solve problems.

📝 Lesson 4 - Visual thinking skills
🎯 What you learn here You will develop a basic understanding of visual thinking - and be able to use it confidently to visualise space and implement technical drawings.
